1. Who we are
BREVORA Marketing (“BREVORA”, “we”, “us”) is a registered business name of Marcela Zuluaga, ABN 34 863 140 395. We operate in Queensland, Australia.
We respect your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, and how we use, store and protect it. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
2. What information we collect
We only collect information we need. This may include:
- your name, email address and phone number
- your business name, website, social media accounts and industry
- details you share about your business, goals and the services you're interested in
- billing details needed to send invoices and receive payment
- basic technical information collected by our website host when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you view
We don't ask for sensitive information (such as health or financial account details) and ask that you don't send it to us. You can contact us without giving your full name, but we may not be able to help fully if we can't identify you.
3. How we collect it
We collect personal information directly from you when you:
- fill in the enquiry form on this website
- email, call or message us
- book or attend a call or meeting
- become a client and give us information to deliver our services
If you're a client, we may also access information held in your own systems, such as your website, CRM, booking or advertising accounts, but only with your permission and only to do the work you've asked for.
4. How we use it
We use your personal information to:
- reply to your enquiry and prepare a quote
- deliver, manage and improve our services
- send invoices, keep business records and meet our legal and tax obligations
- keep our website secure and working properly
We don't sell, rent or trade your personal information.
5. Marketing emails
We'll only send you marketing emails, such as newsletters or offers, if you've agreed to receive them, in line with the Spam Act 2003 (Cth). Every marketing email will identify us and include an easy way to unsubscribe. You can also opt out at any time by emailing us.
6. Who we share it with
We share personal information only when we need to, with trusted providers who help us run our business. These include:
- our enquiry form provider (Formspree), which delivers form messages to our inbox
- our email provider (Google)
- our payment provider for BREVORA Atlas subscriptions (Lemon Squeezy)
- our website hosting provider (Vercel)
- CRM, booking, automation, accounting and advertising tools we use to deliver services to you, and only where you've agreed to their use
- professional advisers, such as our accountant
- government authorities, when the law requires it
7. Overseas storage
Some of our providers, including Formspree, Google and Vercel, may store or process data outside Australia, mainly in the United States. We take reasonable steps to choose providers with strong security and privacy protections.
8. AI tools
We use AI tools to help with tasks like research, drafting and reporting. We don't enter your personal information, or your customers' personal information, into AI tools unless it's needed for the work and you've agreed to it. Where we do, we use business-grade tools that don't use your data to train their models.
9. Cookies
This website doesn't currently use advertising or tracking cookies. If we add analytics or advertising tools in the future, we'll update this policy first. The BREVORA Atlas portal uses one essential cookie to keep you signed in (see below).
10. BREVORA Atlas
BREVORA Atlas is designed to collect as little information as possible:
- There are no accounts. You open the portal with an access key. The portal doesn't ask for or store your name or email address.
- Your answers to the AI task check, your quiz answers and your training progress stay in your own browser. They are not sent to us or anyone else.
- If you type your name on a training completion note, it stays on that page for printing and isn't sent anywhere.
- An essential cookie on your device stores your access key so you stay signed in. We check it with our payment provider about once a day to confirm your subscription is active. Signing out removes it.
- Payments and access keys are handled by our payment provider (Lemon Squeezy), which acts as the seller of record and collects your billing details under its own privacy policy. It may store and process data outside Australia, including in the United States.
11. How we protect and keep it
We take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. These include password-protected accounts, two-step verification and limiting who can see it.
We keep business and tax records for at least five years, as required by Australian tax law. When we no longer need information, we delete or de-identify it securely.
If a data breach is likely to cause you serious harm, we'll tell you as soon as possible and explain what we're doing about it.
12. Accessing or correcting your information
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it. Email us at marrcelazuluaga@gmail.com. We'll respond within 30 days. There's no charge for making a request.
13. Complaints
If you're concerned about how we've handled your personal information, please email us first at marrcelazuluaga@gmail.com. We'll look into it and reply within 30 days.
If you're not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at www.oaic.gov.au or on 1300 363 992.
14. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page, with the date it was last updated.
